MATERIALS:
2 skeins of Handpainted 100% Silk Yarn (pictured in FIESTA) from Angora Cottage. (1150 yards)
Needles: Size 4 US Circular or Straight Needle
GUAGE: 6 stitches per inch
MEASUREMENTS: 2 1/2 feet X 6 feet
PATTERN:
Cast on 120 stitches.
Garter stitch (knit right & wrong sides) for 1 inch. Slip the 1st stitch of each row.
BEGIN PATTERN:
Row 1: Slip 1st stitch & knit row.
Row 2: Slip 1st stitch K5 & purl row last 6 stitches K6.
Row 3: Slip 1st stitch K5, *K2 together 3 times, (YO, knit) 6 times, K2 together 3 times, repeat from * 6 times then K6 to end.
Row 4: Slip 1st stitch & knit row.
Continue pattern until wrap measures 71 inches. Garter stitch for 1 inch and loosely bind off.
